Terms of Service

Last updated 13 July 2026

These terms govern your use of ISZ Booking. They apply both to businesses that use the platform to take bookings and to clients who book appointments through it. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What ISZ Booking Is

We provide the software that businesses use to publish their availability and take appointments. We are not a party to the appointment itself. The services being booked are provided by the business, on their terms, and it is the business — not us — that is responsible for delivering them, for their pricing, and for their cancellation and no-show rules.

Accounts

To run a business account you must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you register, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Free Trial and Subscriptions

Paid plans may be offered with a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid plan automatically and the plan fee is charged to the payment method on file.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method for the recurring fee and any applicable taxes. Fees are quoted exclusive of tax unless stated otherwise.

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal — your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded for a partial period, except where a refund is required by consumer protection law that applies to you. If a payment fails, we may retry it, and may suspend or downgrade the account until it is settled.

We may change our prices. Changes take effect at your next renewal, and we will give reasonable notice before they do.

Plan Limits

Each plan comes with limits — on the number of services, providers, or bookings, for example. Exceeding your plan's limits may require you to upgrade before you can add more.

Bookings

When you book an appointment, you agree to give accurate contact details and to turn up, or to cancel within the window that business has set. Availability shown on the platform reflects what the business has published; a booking is confirmed only once the platform or the business confirms it.

Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and refund policies for the appointment itself are set by each business independently. Review them before you confirm, and take any dispute about a booking, a service, or a refund up with that business directly.

Notifications

Using the platform means receiving the transactional messages that make bookings work: confirmations, reminders, and notices of changes or cancellations, sent by email and — where the business has enabled SMS — by text message. These are part of the service and cannot be switched off while your booking or account is active. Standard carrier charges may apply to SMS.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the platform to:

  • break any law, or offer services that are illegal where you operate;
  • upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, to other accounts, or to the data they contain;
  • probe, scan, scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the service;
  • send spam or unsolicited marketing through the platform's messaging features;
  • impersonate anyone, or misrepresent the business you are booking on behalf of;
  • make bookings in bad faith, in bulk, or with no intention of attending.

Your Data and Your Clients' Data

The content you put into your workspace stays yours. To run the service, you grant us the licence we need to host, process, transmit, and display that content — nothing more.

If you are a business, you are the controller of your clients' data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it, for telling your clients how you use it, and for honouring their requests about it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that data on your behalf.

Third-Party Services

The platform integrates with services we do not control — Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS, Google for calendar sync and reCAPTCHA. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the terms of the provider concerned, and we are not responsible for their availability or their acts.

Intellectual Property

The platform's software, design, and branding belong to us or to our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of it. Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the platform, except where the law says you may.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, updates, and factors beyond our control can all cause downtime. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss; for lost profits, revenue, or data; for missed, cancelled, or incorrectly recorded appointments; for the conduct or the services of any business on the platform; or for any failure of a third-party service we integrate with. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that puts the platform or other users at risk, or that has unpaid fees outstanding. When an account ends, access ends with it, and the data in it is deleted or anonymised in line with our Privacy Policy. Export anything you need before you close your account.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced through the platform or by email, and continuing to use the service after they take effect means you accept them.
